"Buddhist teachings say that every being has been our mother in the past." Women of Wisdom by Tsultrim Allione

Daylong Retreat
with Lama Tsultrim Allione
The Great Mother and the Ground of Being:
Teachings on the Nature of Mind

April 11th, 10am - 4pm: Durango Dharma Center

This program will cover the Ground of Being, the rupture from it and the moment to moment path to returning us to it, including teachings on the Great Mother Prajña Paramita and Dzogchen.  Prajña Paramita arose as an embodiment of wisdom and a representation of the spacious, sky-like nature of mind at a fruitful time in history, parallel to the wisdom goddess Sophia. This daylong retreat will explore the historical background of the Great Wisdom Mother, along with focusing on nature-of-mind meditation practice. Lama Tsultrim will give an introduction and transmission of the practice of the Great Mother Prajña Paramita, who is known as mother of all the Buddhas. The event will authorize participants to do this meditation and join in groups that do this practice. Lama Tsultrim is known for her clarity and her ability to use open dialogue to bring a living experience to participants.
