Mandala of the Five Dakinis

This year Ven. Sabine Kalff will teach the Five Dakini Retreat at Felsentor in which she will introduce Lama Tsultrim's Five Dakini Mandala practice along with integration with the elements. Practices will be done both inside and outside, including sound practices using the seed syllables of the five Dakinis. During the retreat will be depth work with the transformation of the five encumbered emotions into the five wisdoms. Lama Tsultrim encourages all German speaking  students to attend this retreat which will be held  in the exquisite mountain  retreat center Felsentor a unique setting reached only by cog railway or by foot, with vast views of Lake Lucern, waterfalls and flower filled meadows.

Sabine Hayoz Kalff, Buddhist Meditation Teacher, born 1952 in Bern/ Switzerland, studied anthropology and art therapy and worked in a psychiatric ambulatorium and in her own painting studio. Since 1981 she practices and studies Buddhism under the guidance of Tibetan Lamas from the Gelugpa, Kagyü and Nymgma tradition (Gesche Jampa Lodro, Tenga Rinpoche,  Khamtrul Rinpoche and others) and Western Buddhist teachers. Since 1994 her main teacher is Sylvia Wetzel from Berlin. She has been trained and authorized by her to teach. Sabine H. Kalff is a founding member and teacher of Tara Libre, Sylvia Wetzel’s meditation network mainly for women and is the leader of the Swiss branch. She receives ongoing guidance concerning the Tibetan Buddhist tradition from Lodro Rinpoche, great scholar, Tara specialist and Chöd master who teaches at the Buddhist Center of Zollikon/Zürich. Over the last twenty years she has been the manager of this Center together with her husband Martin Kalff. They are now the two resident teachers and they are the parents of  Kevin, 17 years old. Since 2003 she received all the main teachings of  Lama Tsültrim Allione. She spent seven weeks at Taramandala and became one of her teaching assistants. In the following years she assisted Lama Tsültrim Allione in most of her European retreats and has been authorized by her to teach the Mandala of the 5 Dakinis.
