Tri Yeshe Lama
and Ngondro

Ad zom Rinpoche

December 14 - 24, 2007

This year we will have two streams of teachings going simultaneously like last year. We will be continuing the series of Tri Yeshe Lama Teachings, which are open only to those students who have already had the first two segments of Tri Yeshe Lama with Ad zom Rinpoche in 2005 and 2006 as well as having completed the following Ngondro requirements: Prostrations 70K, Refuge 70K, Bodhicitta 70K, Vajrasattva 70K, Mandala, 70K, OR Prostrations 100K, Refuge 100K, Bodhicitta 100K, Vajrasattva 50K.

Next year's requirements will be: Prostrations 100K, Refuge 100K, Bodhicitta 100K, Vajrasattva 100K, Mandala 100K. Please do not apply to attend these teachings without these requirements being fulfilled.

For other students, a second stream will be offered concurrently on the Long Chen Nyingtig Ngondro, these foundational practices are considered to be a base for the practice of traditional Tibetan Buddhism. Last year Rinpoche spent more time teaching this group than the Yeshe Lama group, so it is a substantial retreat in itself. There are no pre-requisites for attending these teachings.

Tara Mandala's new residence hall will be available for housing during this retreat. The majority of rooms are doubles, with two single beds and a sink. Shared bathroom and toilets are on each floor. Every room has an individual thermostat and bedding, including a comforter. Suites are available as well; these include two rooms with queen beds and a private full bathroom between the two rooms. There is also one single room with wheelchair access for limited mobility needs.

**The yurt accommodations are currently full. Available housing is either off the land or in the residence building.**

All teachings will be at Tara Mandala. Three delicious vegetarian meals a day are included in the course fee. Retreatants can also arrange their own lodging in the nearby town of Pagosa Springs.

• Check-in is between 2:00 and 5:00 pm on December 14. This will give you the time necessary to complete registration and settle into your accommodations before dinner at 6:30, followed by evening practice.
• This retreat will end on December 24th at 2:00 pm following a final teaching and lunch. Please plan to attend the retreat in its entirety. Because of the holiday season, flights out may be booked anytime on the 24th; please do not plan to leave before the 24th.
