REST YOUR MIND. RELAX YOUR BODY. REALIZE YOUR TRUE NATURE.

Find refuge in challenging times at Tara Mandala Retreat Center

Welcome. We invite you to step into a space of profound beauty and spiritual nourishment—a sanctuary where the wisdom of ancient practice meets the needs of contemporary life.

Tara Mandala extends this invitation: to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect with your innate wisdom and compassion.

A SANCTUARY FOR TRANSFORMATION

Nestled within 700 acres of rolling hills and flowering meadows in Colorado’s San Juan Mountains, Tara Mandala Retreat Center embodies Lama Tsultrim Allione’s vision—a sanctuary where ancient Tibetan Buddhist wisdom meets contemporary Western understanding.

Here, the magnificent three-story Trikaya Tara Temple rises from the earth, hand-painted and carved by Tibetan and Bhutanese artists. Retreat cabins dot the landscape, offering solitude and vast views. The stupa, built entirely from uncut stones gathered from the land, invites powerful circumambulation and deep reflection

More than just a place of beauty, Tara Mandala is a sacred container for profound transformation.
