The Dakini Retreat

with Lama Tsultrim Allione, Dorje Lopön Charlotte Rotterdam and Lopön Ellen Booth Church

June 13 - 21, 2026

with Lama Tsultrim Allione, Dorje Lopön Charlotte Rotterdam and Lopön Ellen Booth Church

Lama Tsultrim will offer this celebrated and unique retreat which she developed to bring transformational personal work into the container of spiritual practice. This deeply experiential retreat involves meditation practice, art, mask making, sound, and movement. We will work with Simhamukkha, the Lion-headed Dakini, with an introduction to the practice and transmission. This will be followed by dedicating time to each of the five Dakini families in order to transform obstructed, negative patterns into their corresponding wisdom energy. The closure of the retreat will involve revisiting each family and a tsog.

In lieu of a Magyu Gathering, members of the Magyu lineage are invited to attend this program as a time to be together on the land. Lama Tsultrim and Dorje Lopön Charlotte will hold Q&A sessions and a council circle for Magyu members.

Who Can Attend?

  • This program is open to all. There are no prerequisites for this retreat.
  • Familiarity with the Five Dakini Families and the Dakini Mandala practice is supportive for this retreat, but not required. The Journey into the Mandala of the Empowered Feminine Self Paced Program is available here.
  • This is a required retreat for the Magyu Mother Lineage Program.

What to Bring

  • Implements for the practice of Simhamukha: bell & vajra and small practice damaru, if you have these as part of your practice. These implements are available through our Dakini Store. Note: it is not required that you have both of these items upon attending the retreat; however, eventually, they are necessary to do the full practice.
