This Spring, join DHARMA FRIENDS and special guest
Lama Tsultrim Allione
for an inspiring and interactive evening about Dharma Art

Artist Robert Henri once said, “The object isn’t to make art, it’s to be in that wonderful state which makes art inevitable.” How can Vajrayana practices help us enter this state? What does a tradition that teaches about “no self” have to say about art as self-expression? How can writing, painting, music, dance, or any other medium be an expression of Buddha nature? And how can we, as practitioners, incorporate art making as an integral part of our Dharma practice?

Join special guest Lama Tsultrim Allione (joining virtually), Doc Kelly, and DHARMA FRIENDS teachers Megan Mook, Kevin Townley and Lopön Karla Jackson Brewer for an evening of teachings, conversation, meditation, and Dharma art prompts!

Doc Kelley is the co-founder of Psychedelic Sangha and a professor of Religious Studies at Eugene Lang College of Liberal Arts at The New School in New York City, specializing in Buddhist art. Doc will be a featured guest in our fall event and we’re thrilled that he’s joining us to discuss avant-garde Buddhist art with Lama Tsultrim and the resident DHARMA FRIENDS teachers. Don’t miss the extra special DHARMA FRIENDS — our last gathering before fall 2026.
