Join DHARMA FRIENDS for an extra colorful and commemorative evening!  Our fall gathering places Vajrayana Buddhism in dialogue with psychedelic experience and culture. The evening opens with a scholarly review about the possible use of plant-based psychedelics in ancient Buddhism with Professor Doc Kelley, followed by a lively conversation with Doc Kelley, Dr. David Kittay, and DHARMA FRIENDS teachers Megan Mook and Kevin Townely.  Throughout the evening, we’ll share captivating stories and memories of Dr. Robert Thruman, who overlapped with Timothy Leary at Harvard.  The night concludes with a meditation and live music by the viola ensemble 2VLA.
