Live Transmission with Lama Tsultrim Allione

with Lama Tsultrim Allione

May 3, 2026

with Lama Tsultrim Allione

Lama Tsultrim Allione will offer the Lung for Green Tara, Chöd of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, Riwo Sangchö, and Zhitro practices. Anyone is welcome to receive a Lung as a blessing and a connection to a certain practice. If you have already received the Lung, you are welcome to receive it again as a blessing. For anyone who has or is currently learning these practices in our online programs and self-paced courses, the Lung will also allow them to receive the full benefits and blessings of the lineage.

What is a Lung?
A Lung is an oral transmission of a practice, not a teaching. In the Tibetan tradition, it is understood that during the Lung, the student receives a direct transmission of the practice which connects them to the blessing stream of the lineage: from the teacher giving the Lung, to her teacher, and his teacher, all the way back to the original source of the practice.

  • A student must attend ‘live’ (online) for the Lung to be officially received.
  • Lama Tsultrim regularly offers the Lung for our Green Tara, Chöd of Chögyal Namkhai Norbu Rinpoche, Riwo Sangchö, and Zhitro.
  • Tara Mandala offers self-paced online courses that include explanations and teachings on these practices. It is not necessary to receive the Lung to participate in any of the self-paced programs. However, it is encouraged that a student receive a Lung whenever it is offered to fully partake in the lineage’s benefits and blessings.
  • Once you are a student in any of these programs, you are welcome to join any of our regular practice groups at any time for a greater sense of sangha and support.
  • A Lung is always specific to a particular practice, so if you have received a Lung for a different Green Tara practice, for example, you will still need to receive the Lung for this Green Tara practice.

Who Should Attend?
Anyone is welcome to receive a Lung as a blessing and a connection to a certain practice. If you have already received the Lung, you are welcome to receive it again as a blessing.

What Do I Need to Prepare?
Nothing! No text, materials, or anything else is needed to attend a Lung.

What Are the Next Steps?
If you have not learned these practices yet, we recommend that, after receiving a Lung, you receive teachings on them. You can do this through the self-paced online courses we offer (see below).

Who Should Attend?
This program is open to everyone.

Information on offering dana to the teacher will be provided during the program. To learn more about dana and suggested dana ranges, please click here.

The suggested dana range for the lung is $10 – $20. For more information about dana, click here.
